Bask Steakhouse opened earlier this month at 1570 Holcomb Bridge Road, adjacent to From the Earth Brewing Co., which opened in 2017. Both concepts come from Tim Stevens and his wife, Lisa.

Tim Stevens has been a brewery owner for four years, having opened From the Earth Brewing Co. in 2017 with his wife, Lisa.

But Stevens, who previously worked in front of the house of the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, and more recently at the now-closed Cook Hall in Buckhead, always hoped to return to his fine dining roots.

To navigate COVID, one Roswell brewery expands its reach

ROSWELL Ga. –  From The Earth Brewing Company had just finished one of its busiest weekends of the summer, when outdoor and indoor dining was ordered closed due to the pandemic.

Owner Tim Stevens remembers it like yesterday.

Blocked from operating his Roswell business in a normal fashion, Stevens had to act quickly. As a family man, he said he saw a lot of locals struggling to find fresh produce, meats, toilet paper and other merchandise that was harder to come by at the beginning of the pandemic.

From The Earth Brewing Company’s Azalea Park Beer Garden returned to the Chattahoochee River last week following a yearlong hiatus due to the pandemic.

In June of 2020, during the height of the shutdown, From The Earth Brewing Company owner Tim Stevens announced they would be shutting down the Beer Garden on the River after just one month in operation.

Hops on the Hooch: From the Earth Brewing opening beer garden on the river

From the Earth Brewing Company is opening a Beer Garden by the River June 27. Owners Lisa and Tim Stevens modeled the space after a traditional beer garden. Beer Garden by the River will serve food, craft beer, cocktails, live music, games and fun at 201 Azalea Drive. The space is currently an empty green space, but tables and seating will be added.

Brewpub founder Tim Stevens tells us they are currently testing small batches but we will open with a minimum of 6 house brewed beers and a non-alcoholic root beer. “We plan on opening with a Pale Ale, IPA or two, Pilsner, Stout and possibly a seasonal,” says Stevens.
