Reedy River String Band has taken the Southeast of the United States by storm the past few years with their fresh take on Appalachian roots music. In 2023, Reedy River performed at several notable bluegrass festivals, including the Earl Scruggs Music Festival (EmmyLou Harris, Infamous Stringdusters, Greensky Bluegrass) and the Charleston Bluegrass Festival (Leftover Salmon, Molly Tuttle, Keller and the Keels). Reedy River's sound is modern bluegrass with foot stompin' elements of jam and rock n' roll inspired by the various touring and recording experiences of its members.
